At Meili, accessibility is not an afterthought — it is a core principle. We are committed to ensuring that all people, including those with disabilities, can use our website and digital services with ease and confidence. From 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) introduces binding standards for digital services across the EU. We take these requirements seriously and are dedicated to meeting, and where possible exceeding, them.
We design and maintain our website in line with:
• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA – internationally recognised best practice.
• European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) – legal requirements for accessibility across digital services in the EU.
• EN 301 549 – the EU’s harmonised standard for accessible ICT products and services.
These standards help us ensure our services are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which are internationally recognised standards for accessible websites. We also follow the EU’s rules for accessible products and services.
To support accessibility, we:
• Test regularly – using both automated tools and manual checks, including with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
• Fix issues promptly – remediating barriers as soon as they are identified.
• Design with accessibility in mind – embedding accessibility into our product development, content creation, and service design from the very beginning.
• Train our teams – so that everyone involved in delivering Meili’s services understands and applies accessibility best practices.
• Listen to users – encouraging feedback to identify barriers that technology alone may not catch.
We welcome feedback on accessibility. If you find any problems or have suggestions for improvement, please get in touch:

Accessibility is a continuous journey, not a one-time project. We will:
• Monitor our compliance on an ongoing basis.
• Review our policies regularly in line with evolving standards such as WCAG 2.2 and future EU regulations.
• Work with users, groups, and specialists to ensure our services remain inclusive.
We believe that accessibility benefits everyone. By making our services open and usable for all, we are building not only compliance—but trust, fairness, and equal opportunity for every user.
